January Wrap-Up…

January was a good reading month for me, I managed to squeeze in a total of 13 books which is a new record! I managed to make a start on a few of my 2018 goals which I hope will continue into next month. My favourite book I read this January is: The City of Brass! The level of detail and immense world building included was the ticket for me. My least favourite book has got to be Paris Adrift. I’m so upset about this one because I had very high hopes for it.

Depending on who you are (me or my bank account) January was a good month for buying/getting books! I never want to total up how much I spend on books because I think I’d die of an early heart attack. Some of these were on offer, others I had in my basket for a while hoping the pricing would come down on them and four of them were actually gifts!

The Cruel Prince – Holly Black

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor

Everything Leads To You – Nina LaCour

Unfiltered – Lily Collins

Godsgrave – Jay Kristoff

An Enchantment of Ravens – Margaret Rogerson

Carve The Mark – Veronica Roth

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – J.K. Rowling

Just A Girl – Carrie Mesrobian

Truthwitch – Susan Dennard

Love & Gelato – Jenna Evans Welch

Hunting Prince Dracula – Kerri Maniscalco

Radiance (Wraith Kings) – Grace Draven

Batman: Nightwalker – Marie Lu

City of Bones – Cassandra Clare

TBR for February:

I originally told myself that February would be a romance-y month, however, I didn’t have enough time to fit Batman in January so it got moved. Plus after flicking through A Pocketful of Crows, I knew I had to read it soon. There are so many beautiful illustrations within it! I’m looking forward to reading all of these as I’ve heard many great things from them and I have to read them no matter what!

Once And For All – Sarah Dessen

The Hating Game – Sally Thorne

Night Owls – Jenn Bennett

A Pocketful of Crows – Joanne M Harris

Batman: Nightwalker – Marie Lu
